A Cup of Kindness Yet by Anonymous Author @ Snupin Santa

A very well-researched AU, set in Victorian London. Good characterisation and wonderful use of minor characters to add depth and detail to this interesting tale. It's a slow-developing romance, brilliantly executed by an accomplished author.

In "A Cup of Kindness Yet" Snape is working as a chemist at an apothecary when he runs into a certain Remus Lupin one cold winter night. The author makes use of little tit-bits of information about London and the living conditions at that time, creating a vibrant and alive story. There is hurt/comfort - and a daring kind. Bruised and battered and ruined, the two men... well. Do read it yourself. It is a very interesting and well-written 14K read.
